Our take: We wonder how strong this attraction (if any) really is! In all probability, this is a rebound relationship for Bips. As for Shahid, he’s single and ready to mingle after his on-off relationship with Priyanka finally ended. Things look bleak for this couple.

Our take: Struggling to find a foothold in the industry, Kunal and Soha have found great support in each other. Also, after her breakup with south star Siddharth, Soha seems much more secure and sorted in the company of Kunal. And we hear that mum Sharmila is supportive. This one could be for keeps.

Our take: This one seems more like a friendship of convenience than a serious relationship. Dips and Sid are young and unwilling to commit. They even seem open to considering other eligible partners. This one doesn’t look like it’s going to be an affair to remember.

Will it work?: Yes


Our take: These two lovebirds have managed to keep their relationship away from the media glare. Guess that has helped them sustain it over so many years. Their parents, who were earlier not too keen on the match, are now comfortable with it. Even though Riteish recently denied any plans of marriage, we wouldn’t be surprised if wedding bells ring soon! 





 Punit Malhotra-Sonam Kapoor




Will it work?: Maybe


Our take: Director Punit and Sonam became friends first before love came a-calling. Though they haven’t admitted to anything yet, their close pals have confirmed that they are more than just good friends. They have stood by each other in the last couple of years and Punit has constantly been by Sonam’s side through her health problems. It looks like a solid foundation to build a relationship on, doesn’t it? If they manage to handle their respective stardom and success with maturity, they could make this a lasting affair. 
 

Ranveer Singh-Anushka Sharma



Will it work?: No


Our take: This duo is currently riding the wave of success and shares a great chemistry on and off screen. Ranveer is enjoying loads of female attention (Case in point: Sonakshi Sinha) and has always maintained that he is in no mood for a serious relationship. Though Anushka adores him, we hear she gets put off by his flirtatious and loud behaviour. Wethinks it’s quite a fiery relationship, but one that could fizzle out soon.

Ranveer and Anushka found cuddling in a corner at Ranbir’s big bash on Tuesday night. Go on, say it’s still ‘platonic’


Dating isn’t a bad thing. We wonder why the tinsel townies still keep denying their romantic liasions time and again? Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma, for instance, were simply friends first.


Then they reportedly, kissed at Shahid Kapoor’s party in February. Still, Anushka maintaining the platonic nature of their relationship, said in a recent interview, “We are great friends. We hang out, have coffee together, go out for dinners.


We have common friends. We have some karmic connection but it’s totally platonic.” Yeah right! That’s why they were inseparable at Ranbir Kapoor’s recent house party held at Krishna Raj. Wonder what Plato has to say to that.


Let us refresh your memory. Not so long ago, Anushka had told a section of the media, “I have sworn on my movie Band Baaja Baraat that Ranveer and I are not dating. There is no bigger proof I can give. He keeps to himself most of the time.


He is not a person who will ask his girlfriend about her day and if she is okay or not. He is overdramatic and psychotic. Hats off to the girl who’s ever going to date him.”


On the other hand, Ranveer had said, “Our relationship is such that we are unabashedly taking each other’s case, tearing each other’s hair out if we happen to spend even fifteen minutes at a stretch in one room. Anushka is too demanding. God help the person who dates her.”


Are they just trying to live out a 90s Bollywood romance a la Dil or Khiladi, where the hero and the heroine start off with fighting each other and then end up together?


However, the couple who denied their affair even on Karan Johar’s chat show, recently threw caution to the winds behind the closed doors of Krishna Raj. “They definitely made their relationship official, albeit by action,” said an eyewitness.


At the hot-n-happening party, Ranveer and Anushka held hands throughout and detangled their arms only to put it tightly around each other in a hug.


Added the witness, “At times, they even went into corners, oblivious to the people around them. And when everybody had a few drinks and started shaking a leg, Ranveer grabbed this opportunity as well as Anushka and pulled her for a close dance.


Out of all the couples on the dance floor, Ranveer and Anushka were the coziest. Almost everybody noticed their proximity.”


Weren’t Ranbir and Angela dancing together? Said the witness, “No. Not together. As you guys rightly mentioned in your paper yesterday, Angela maintained a low profile at the party.”
